I should know about both Thai and Khmer because I have 10% of Khmer blood in me..but I am 50 % Thai..I was born in Thailand..and I think what the khmer did back in the 1700 and 1800 to Thai people were cruel and not human..

@megamunchit2008 FYI I have read both history from both side Thai and Khmer and the truth is that your ancestors the khmer king who are greedy and selfish that wanted Thai land and resources. Khmer invaded Thailand and killed a lot of Thai..and now you see the results..now khmer ppl are suffering ..they are living in poverty and not as well off as most other south east countries. It's call KARMA..what goes around comes around you are paying for what your ancestors did. Get ur facts right!

@acesigns209418 thai, lao, khmer,indonesian are all the same kind of script if it's the blessing sak yant...they're all from same root buddhism and beliefs so of course they're the same and I understand why you are easily convinced that only khmer originated this because you must be khmer growing up seeing it in your country well thai. lao, indonesian, indian did too..so it would be true as well for one of the other countries to claim that it belongs to them.
