Game Review - Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection

Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection is a well loved game. I was a bit upset that the lock-on feature from Sonic & Knuckles was absent; meaning Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Knuckles in Sonic 2, and Blue Sphere are absent. The unlocking requirement's for Phantasy Star are also silly, but overall the game was good and well worth the $29.99. On a side note, I wonder if we will see some SEGA Saturn and SEGA CD titles in the next collection since SUGC "Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection" has some SEGA Mega Drive games present.

umhhh did u say that the Oasis game is in there???? wen i played it in Europe wen i was 10 or so it was caled Story of Thor but i know in the USA u ppl call it Oasis somthin.. plese answer me dude and is it only on the Xbox version or on the ps3 version to??? plese answer i love that gam...brings bk so many memories and whatchin the walktru on utube made m wana play it badly (i have the ps2 vers it's not on there)

Not having Sonic 3 and Knuckles and Knuckles In Sonic 2 doesn't effect me Because I own the Sonic Classic Collection for DS and that game has them. Blue Sphere I don't care about because I have never played it nor Do I ever want to great review for a great game and I subscribed

SegaGenPlayer--Actually, he was complimenting Sonic 2 by saying it was even better than Sonic 1, which was "the fucking shit."  "The shit" is a positive phrase.

On another note, the original Streets of Rage is a terrible game, but Streets of Rage 2 is far superior to every other side-scrolling brawler of the era.
