What this is, is an example of using Kineme's Particle Tools and Kineme3D together, to setup a visual illusion.
I've placed "collider" surfaces where each of the surfaces would appear to be to the eye on this 2d picture, but in 3d space, so that when I introduce these fish objects into the environment, they react accordingly.
This uses Apple's Quartz Composer Developer Tool application technology and Kineme's Quartz Composer Patches to pull this off. It's also rendered via Kineme's Quartz Crystal offline render app.
This was manually setup, not through any kind of image analysis. It's fairly noteworthy in that it's particle collision/physics, happening in 3 dimensions with Quartz Composer in a straightforward way.
