  • Yes, I have noticed that the government neglect the upkeep of the roads once you leave the main thoroughfares.

  • @islandgirl3330 Oh yes. I went for a walk one day into a neighborhood and well the roads just didn't look like roads at all. But keep in mind, they have such an issue with water. When it rains, it rains like crazy and some of the roads look like streams.

  • Thank you for showcasing Jamaica, now people will get see that Jamaica is not all about reggae, violence and ganga

  • There's more to come! And as you say, Jamaica is so much more! And it is definitely not about violence and ganga. That is all media hype.

  • I visited Jamaica from Scotland 3 years ago.Although the main reason i went was because i have been a lifelong Reggae fan and i had to visit the place that this wonderful music comes from,i must say that Jamaica is the most colourful and beautiful place i have ever been.I know it has its problems but the spirit of the people shines through.I hope one day that i will be lucky enough to visit again!

  • what does she mean he doesn't look Jamaican?....Jamaica is a nation of all races

  • @kiasky1 Man he was at a bad place at a bad time. Stop acting as if crime only happens in one area of the world. That same misfortunate event can happen anywhere in the world. Stop the stereotyping!!! Jamaica has its good and bad, it's only the bad that gets media attention.

  • No violence against tourist? That is a lie. A friend was threatened with a machete because he would not give a local money. Lies Lies Lies, The stereotypes are true.

  • looks like shit !

  • love this documentary, Jamaica has such rich heritage, and history, remnants are still visible til this day. The old court house gate could use some painting. These historical buildings are gems, and should be taken care of for the next generaritons. Loving these videos, it takes me to places I have not been when I was in Jamaica, and would visit once I visit home again.

  • the lady says that he does not look jamaican, my question is what do jamaicans look like? everyone thinks that as soon as you hear the word jamaican the 1st thing that comes to mind is black people when in actuality there are lots of different races on the island, I for one am jamaican and im lighter complexion that he is

  • Anyway, I forgot to mention that your videos are very good.

  • "He does not look like a Jamaican". There are all type of races and mixed races living in Jamaica but as usual, you are not going to learn this in the tourist resort areas.
