that was right next door to my grand parents house, I still remember the women there named Gertie, My grand mother Dot used to talk to her acrass the fence. I used to live at 5971 W 23, half a block away, and my best child hood friend Steve lived on the other side of that house.

I grew up a few blocks west of here a long time ago. I agree it was never GREAT, but it was nicer back then. Most people kept their homes up and cared about the neighborhood. Sadly now its been taken over by little wannabe gang bangers and the neighborhoods have gone to shit. Shame. I had a great time growing up there long ago.
