Michael Buble: Moondance (Drum Cover)

This is my drum cover of one of my all-time favorite jazz songs, "Moondance." Originally written by Van Morrison, "Moondance" is a song that my jazz band, The Speakeasy Jazz Band, performs and covers. Michael Buble did a BEAUTIFUL rendition of this song, and I felt it necessary to cover because of the fun I have in playing this song. VIEWERS BEWARE: I do some different things in this video that are out of the ordinary in comparison to my other videos...as well as my facial expressions. ENJOY!

im learning this piece for my drum teacher, tomorrow i go and play it for him - so i look to youtube to see ways to do some cool drum fills; thanks this video was great, i think you played it well - and i dont know what mental jake was talking about with the 'silly stick throw' - it was obviously an accident, i used to do it when i got a bit excited hahaha

Thanks for your Critique MentalJake. I am working on a re-do of this cover. That is something I will remember..however, my view of a drum cover is that I don't play EXACTLY what is played in the song..I cover it with something else..like a band doing a cover song..the band does not play the song exactly as it is written...thank you for your comment.

haha I know it is an awesome song..that is why you feel so strongly about it. thanks for your tip though! check out my band's youtube though, TheSpeakeasyjb..the vids are recorded during our live perfomances, but there are some "in studio" recordings.
