@esl2k7 im pretty sure he was a HUGE factor to the world champion 2009 yankees.

the yankees could do without a-rod, they didnt do anything as a team while he was there.

right but, jeter always wants to play and will take no for an answer when it comes to playing. He wants to play 162 games a year and that shows jeter is a true ball player and is also giving a good name for the yankees. Lots of memories will be kept in the stadium but, the new stadium will be cool but, the old stadium will never be forgotten. I agree. JETER AND A-ROD 4 LIFE

dont forget he hurt his hand the night before, he wanted to play more than anything and deseved to, johnny's and molina's homers were the offence, most speculated jeter would get the final homer, but whats done is dont, yankee stadium we will miss you.

Jeter went 0-5 but, had the best farewell speech to yankee stadium but, jeter had a good game no matter what and is still my favorite player but, also seeing the legends was epic man, seeing yogi, paul o'neill, bernie and so many others.

i'm gonna miss it too. even though i've only been to about 20 games there (i've been to like 10 road games also), i've enjoyed every second being there. it was pretty sad, because i didnt even get to go this year. the new one won't be the same
i taped it, and im gonna watch it over and over again. it was awesome
