I first saw The High at the Heineken music festival, Heaton park manchester 1991. (I think.) What an awesome song. It really takes me back 20 years. What a great time to be around. Wish I knew then what I know now! Life truly is bittersweet...

Another underated Manchester band.....first saw them backing the Inspirals and they blew my mind.

Martin Hannett's work with The High was the last he made before he died. He still worked his magic in spite of all his illnesses. RIP.
