@larken24 I Agree!

@SuperMario6419 They will soon discover it is a complete waste of time & effort. At very least, it will be made into another target for those who acquire the parts & sell them on the black market! Very lucrative, all CASH sales! NO QUESTIONS ASKED! Gauge sets, whistles, bells, headlights, extra lights, number boards, hoses, generators, air pumps, pipes, boiler pop off valves, sand dome covers & so much more to choose from! All there for the taking!
Junk all the remaining steam locomotives!
-
@Cockroach2008 They are doing a rebuild on the locomotive.
-
@Scioneer But is it still in one piece? Better start looking for all the parts!
-
I just did, the train is still there.
-
Ah, but you forget there are metal fabricators who will use the same skills, and even some of the same tools that were used to make the original parts. Why? Because they are also enthusiast who work to preserve these machines. Even when the Locos were restored, this very same thing happened when a part was too worn to use. So your argument fails like the rivets on the Titanic.

@Cockroach2008 All empty threats and hollow promises.=)

@Paraffinmeister Believe whatever you want!
You will know when it happens & the Pierre Marquette is sent to the foundry for scrap!
It is going to happen, sooner than you may expect!
Just close your eyes & when you open them again, it will be all gone!
Cockroach2008, You say the same stuff over and over and over and over. Just give up already.
