  • Peter nails it on the head! Especially the college education thing. Most recent graduates don't expect to pay off their $100K student loans. Just make the minimum payment every month. When I graduated in 1995, my student loan debt was $30K. I got it down to $8K, despite paying $50K out of pocket for medical expenses. So I guess it may be possible for $100K to be paid off, especially if one doesn't have medical expenses. Anyway, it is true that college is more a daycare center than college

  • Ummmm. If you graduated in '95- how can you be 21 years old?.... (scratches head)

Can you expand on what you mean by college is more a daycare centre? Did you not learn anything?

  • You're picking at straws here. No one I know puts their real age on here.

Daycare center as in a place for parents to send their kids to keep them out of trouble. Or keep them busy.

  • Sorry about causing offence.

Onto what you said, are you telling me that you did not learn anything in college?

  • Of course, there are exceptions, myself included, but MOST kids in college, at least when I went to college in the early 90's, were not interested in learning anything.

So the answer is no, I did learn something. Just because there is an outlier, does not disprove the proposition.

If I'm being crass, it's because I get tired of young people who take everything to the literal 'T' if it isn't prefixed with words like "I think" or "In my opinion". It's a way of participating without substance.

  • the governments of any country that promotes one world order is guilty of treason against their own native soil. they represent world bank interests & will start wars to further the benefit of those international interests, no benefit to people their supposedly representing. they are deserving of a fair trial and if & when or to what extent their treacherouy is discovered, prohibited from any leadership role or hung by the neck & made example to any leader would betray their own country!

  • A voice of sanity!

    So true!!

  • Unfortunately, these journalists are probably directed on what to say by their bosses if they wish to keep their jobs...

  • CNBC are cheerleaders.

If you owe without getting anything in return, what is it called?

Does the bank really loan out the full price of your mortgage or do they just type in the amount into the home sellers bank account?

Fractional reserve banking for personal loans should be as legal as slavery for they are the same.

If we still want fractional reserve banking, why don't we just cut out the bank and lend ourselves the money? The government could empower the citizen instead of the bank.

  • So true. That´s why general public is clueless. because moron journalists like her presenting the news.
