This is the introduction video for my playlist, "The REAL Arkansas". Far too often Arkansas is given a bad name by people who don't even know about the state. I wanted to showcase videos that accurately depict my home state.

Actually those videos do portray AR correctly. This place is a horrible, dirty, small minded state. I can't wait to get out. I can say all of this because I was born and raised here and everyday is another step towards getting out. If you like to clean fish, fire a gun, go to church and be run by conservatives, AR may be for you.

I too was born and raised here. While I agree that particular sections of Arkansas are small minded and dirty, I do not believe this is representative of the entire state. It has been my experience that this state is unique amongst other states. The landscape is beautiful and varied in environments, the people are friendly, and the air is clean. However, by your last sentence, I gather your dislike of Arkansas is primarily a political one. I'm sorry if politics has given you a bad taste.
