Stop talking bullshit, This is MTB not Road race so the technique is different... Sometimes you have to turn the legs fast and sometimes it's better to slow down and push bigger .
Lance is 40 y/o and finished 5 !!! What a great performance ! Let him do some more races and I'm sure he will be on the podium !

wow...it's amazing! Lance has changed his cycling technic...where is his famous cadence...he uses lot of strenght now...maybe lot of swim workout has softened his body!

Just so you know, your video is running at half speed (50 second clip) while your audio is running at the correct speed (25 seconds of audio then silence).
