What an incredible and tasteful rendition by this Italian "Heldentenor". Del Monaco's German is impeccable and I wonder how many listeners know how difficult it is for an Italian to pronounce an "h" at all. There is only one thing missing - he pronounces "genannt" correctly, instead of singing "kenannt"! :)

Menomale che questo cantante canta di forza
cerchiamo di rivalutarlo almeno in chiave tecnica, non canta tutto uguale come molti affermano, si può discutere sul tedesco ma non sull'interprete che è di rilevanza storica
