  • i went there and i enjoyed it alot. sunny day& ice cream van parked up in mid route of this road. nice place to relax and great roads if you wanna burn some rubber =D

but yes best to go there either real early or late. however just for a cruise its great road.

i came from cardiff and the whole journey over there was amazing! i decided not to go through m4 route to this road and take the long way through the back roads. best time i have had in a while.

    thanks justtheman102 for the tip

  • cops everywhere on the brynaman road.

fantastic road, better take the focus up there

  • wanna take my 106 GTi up here but live in the midlands =(

  • i think il have to take a drive up there :D there are good country roads here in Dorset but not very testing tbh :D oh yeh do the cops hang around this road? or not?

  • There is another road only 20 minutes away, that is nearly equal to this one.

It includes an evil straight that is well over 1 mile long, with a 200 meter high hill in the middle of it. However, there is a hairpin at the end of that one. I will post later with the cordinates for everyone to go there when they want to do the Black Mountain Pass. You may as well do them both!

The other road is between Morriston and Ammanford! As said, will post cordinates later!!!

    I love where I live!! :D:D:D

  • That's the Black Mountains. I have on-board footage of the same road in my film The REAL Biker Boyz. Some clips are on YouTube. There's lots of nice roads near and around here: Penderyn to the A470 (stop and say hi to Terry in the Superbites burger van on the A470), Dan yr Ogof to Sennybridge, Cymmer to Treorchy, Treorchy to Hirwaun. Some smaller roads take you from pontneddfechan, Glyn Neath through Ystradfellte to Sennybridge (amazing mountain road). And there's loads more.

  • what a twat to keep the camera still and in place, i had exactly the same problem when i filmed mine!

  • Good road. Prefer one of it's neighbours to the east. B road rather than A.
