Might we expect something involving Kohlrabi? According to Wikipedia they have a "sputnik-like shape". A township in my State - Michigan - has the title "Kohlrabi Capitol of The World". It is rumoured that, in early spring Kohlrabi, emit a 'dark hum' which confuses whales and may interfere with ultra-low (long wave) communications employed by submarines.
