Did the motor fit onto the stock mount or did you modify it??? I see you have written "motor mount 2° up" and have check hobby king for that part and could not find anything. Can you please explain how you mounted the motor.

    Thanks,

  • @blaken88 motor fits into the stock mount, just have to remove a little metal ( 2 millimeters max ) on the longest part to allow the motor to have a little space. Just put a washer under the the rear of the motor mount before you screw it securely to give a little up thrust.

  • Awesome vid, im currently building a foam board F117 and have this motor, can you advise me on what prop size and ESC amapge to use? Many thanks.

  • @MarneusAugustaCalgar Motor can turn a 4,5 x 4,5 prop (or 4,75 x 4,25) and 4 cells (2650 Mah). No bigger prop or will destroy the motor.

Turnigy 80 A ESC with built-in ubec is great.

    Good flights !

  • @sureggem1 Thanks for the info :) However i will be running the same motor but a 3s 2.2 lipo and the same prop size as you so do you think a 40 amp esc would be ok? Thanks.

  • @MarneusAugustaCalgar You should test it with wattmeter ! I've never tried it on 3 s.
