It's about the spirit in which you act. If you display the fruits of the spirit you are part of the Body of Christ, if you display the fruits of the flesh you are part of the body of Lucifer. Literal and Poetic are not contradictory but complimentary. The Spirit of Christ is about peace, righteousness, balance and harmony whilst the spirit of the Anti-Christ is about the lopsided glorification of the flesh and it's desires alone. Those are the two sides to choose from.

I know the GNOSTIC GOSPELS , even to the point when he kisses MAry on the ...m... but they are simply the JEWISH side of things, or maybe i am wrong..I'm thinking THOMAS< MARY, and the DEAD SEA SCROLLS and the nasoreans..the fisher of men? next you'll be telling me HIRAM ABIFF had a secret and sent it through the eons through religions and masons. I think you've been brainwashed by deluded evangelical Christians who pray to Jesus instead of God the Father as He Himself taught us to do. All your questions are based on the assumption that the only version of the teaching of Jesus is that which mirrors the Roman version. I suggest you look in Gnosticism to get some idea of alternative views. Your questions are mostly aimed at debunking stuff I don't believe in myself and you'll need some background to make sense of my answers.

Those who follow the teaching of Jesus (not necessarily those who pray to Him as if He is the Father, but rather those who are in intent brothers and sisters of Him) are the Body of Christ. Whether the historical person died of old age, changed into a rainbow body or disappeared altogether is irrelevant.
