Warhammer 40K Ork Boyz "Paint it quick" method.

Base coated in the standard colours, then i used Army Painter quickshade - strong tone. I then matt varnish over the figure when completely dry to get rid of the shine What do you think of the results?

That's a great way to shade them quickly. I may use quickshade for my 25mm armies too. Thumbs up for the tip.

they look great, quick shade helps take the pain away from building army's with lots of troops like orcs if you want them to look a little more matt you could always slap paint on varnish marnues has. that will take every bit of sheen away :)

it would add about 2 mins time to paint it on for every mini though but that vallejo matt varnish he has really is good stuff.

@girlpainter2010 I know that. Just pointing out something about quick shade most people don't think of since it is "quick" shade LOL Doesn't mean you can't use it for higher end paint jobs as well.
