This is perfect. Kids this small are the epitome of innocence and goodness. They haven't yet been corrupted by adult ideals and schemes. She opened the door, and a little kid spoke what is true to her.  And she was knocked flat. You can't tell a little kid what he said is wrong, when you asked him to speak his little mind. At the very least it's his mind, no matter that he's a little kid.

And now on top of everyone else disagree with, you liberals are bashing the little kids too.
