smarcel1, travel with me through the mists of time, to a time 2000 yrs ago, to a place that doesn't matter. the first year in the AD calendar was 1. there was no year Zero. so (if you can count with me) 1 is the 1st year, 2 is the 2nd year, 3 is the 3rd....... year 10 would be the 10th yr. This means year 11 is the 1st yr of the next decade. stay in school

so is 2011's last digit a 0? oh no its a 1!!.......so would that mean the decade starts in 2010?? it must! OMG who knew!
