Nice tutorial, very comprehensive. I would like to see you do a video on maintenance tips or even a side by side comparison for a common repair such as cleaning the jets. How easy is it to field disassemble either of these models?

really really good reviews, very clear..especially interesting as im hoping to pick both of these stoves up myself in the near future..is it easier to simmer food on the canister stove would you say? it would be good to see a video of how to clean the whisperlite...well done

Thanks.
It is definitely easier to simmer on the canister stove, because it has a more variable fuel valve. The whisperlite requires more fine adjustment of the valve, and even then does not have a very good simmer range.
