Rusty, a spy from Mars, pays a visit to Earth and discovers how its inhabitants disrespect one another by driving poorly. This 1959 film espouses a Christian viewpoint on safety, stating that "reckless driving is a sin." How Would Jesus Drive? The 1950s-style animation is great, with an awesome jazz soundtrack. Supremely weird.

  • Stop Driving Us Crazy: or how widespread reckless driving prevented an invasion by Methodist Aliens in the late 50s.

  • Leave it to you to find a Methodist driving safety film! You rock! :)

  • Howard Morris provided the voices heard in this short; jazz legends Benny Golson and Art Blakey collaborated on the musical score; two of the animators were Ken Mundie [who later directed an "experimental" cartoon for Warner Bros.-Seven Arts, "The Door" (1968)], and Sam Kai, who later worked on Jay Ward's and Total/Leonardo Television's cartoon series...

  • this is strange because it seems to be for kids... but kids dont drive... so it must be for teens and adults
