  • That was great!

  • @radawsonco Right but the problem is that the rich are the ones benefiting from the increased money supply the most. They're the ones doing all the spending so when the devaluation of the currency starts to come to fruition via the increase in nationwide legal tender they just print more. The problem with inflation is that our wages are not raised to compensate this increase in volume. Inflation in and of itself is not a tax only when we are denied access to new money.

  • This is why it's important to use scarce commodities. Gold and silver have always been the most obvious choice. Gold makes a perfect currency because it does not oxidize and you can naturally acquire a lot for it. Paper is like water. If you try to use it as a currency any good or service is going to cost an astronomical amount. The only reason paper works at all is because of regulation but the more that is printed the more it's true value shines through.

  • Wealth is taxed through inflation, wealthy people invest their savings

  • With the economic system being so centralized it almost leaves one in a situation of immoral or starve.

  • boring. go trim yer beard ja jew

  • If people work for their money and accrue a lot like bill gates I see no problem with them keeping it. It is theirs. Look at how much Bill revolutionized computers. The whole world benefits and that is why he has so much. What we really need is unrestrained competition. Let free markets rein. Money is supposed to be a representation of productivity. The more productive you are the more labor you have to show for it.

  • I find myself agreeing with this video as well.

  • I generally find that I don't agree with your videos, but in this case, I do agree entirely with the contents of this video. I do wish you would have spoken a little more explicitly about the morality of economics. I am nearly certain that you are proposing that the wealthy should look out for the well-being of the poor to make sure that they have a reasonable standard of living, but it would have been nice if you would have spelled it out in no uncertain terms to prevent confusion.
