  • Just look at the thought and imagination that went into making those flicks. Hollywood has become plain damned lazy!

  • SORRY KID I DONT BELEVE IN FAIRY TALES!!!!

  • @Mat001 Actually there was a remake where the original actor returned to play his character. Sean Connery played James Bond again in the "unofficial" Bond movie Never Say Never Again which was a remake to Thunderball which Sean also starred. Wes Craven's New Nightmare was a bit of a remake to the first nightmare movie but had the real world twist of course

  • I grew up watching this movie for years, and loved this entire sequence. Never found out who sang this song. Now i find out its iggy pop! Fucking awesome.

  • The TWO most important days in your LIFE are: The DAY you were born, and the DAY when you find out WHY.

  • These movies were all such a ride, and I think "Freddy's Dead" was such a great cap to them, and not hampered at all by the fact that still more movies were made after it; especially considering that they took the character in new directions, and into new territory.

This film really provided an appropriate bookend to the era of the high-polish, high-gloss Freddy flick, and this montage was just the little bow on top of it, perfectly capturing that fun, spirited Freddy that we all know and love.

  • @elevenslight Perhaps because the source materials to give them what you call "a decent remaster" may no longer exist. The first three films were shot on rather low budgets, and at a time when disguising the fact was far more difficult. And I do not know if you heard the news, but the 3D fad has died. People go to theatres for an experience that is above and beyond what they have in their home. Not only does 3D not provide that, but many contend 3D provides a lot less than they have at home.

  • Part one and 7 are the best Movies, because in these Fred Kruger really Evil.
