  • Definitely my favourite boxer. One of the classiest fighters ever to grace the ring. And I agree that he and Mos Def look/sound quite similar. Why has no one done a movie over him yet??

  • they need to make a boxing bible, and put his statements in bold.

  • I want this video on my OT-E230 unit.

  • lets be honest, a personality like pattersons is rare in boxing, what a true legend

  • Floyd Patterson was a genuinely wonderful person.

  • lookin at floyd smile at the end shows how much he loves his son.and the way he speaks in the corner shows he has alot of experience and compasion for the sport.i wish he had trained me.i learned my sparring 5-6 guys 3-4 times a week.it was hard but i got alot of xp.

  • belive it or not my uncle had floyds championship belt.he did a tattoo for it cuz he loves boxing but thought it was fake.he let me carry it and it was very heavy and real gold.so he thought it was a replica or something.when he put it up at i think e-bay the response he got shocked him.not only was it really floyds belt it was real gold.my uncle gave it back to floyd with no cares cuz my uncle is a pro boxer.i do boxing also and i feel honored that i got to hold this legends history.

  • wow this guy was brilliant !

  • Patterson was too light, even in his era, but you'd never find a more dignified, intelligent or admired heavyweight champ. One has to remember that Patterson kept in the game well after he lost the title the second time and, in fact, fought Ali in two bouts in which he acquitted himself quite well in 1965 and again in 1972. A true champion and wonderful man. Unlike others who "fought too long", Patterson retired at 37 and would have been a force past the mid sixties but for his weight.

  • His gazelle punch was amazing.

  • What a gentleman!
