I play this in my high-school concert band- I'm a flute.
Somehow, I doubt that I will be as pro at this piece as these guys are though...

My band played this song for contest this year and got all ones even got a 1+ !!! :D

I play bass clarinet and literally get ten bars of resting in this entire piece. Not to mention at the beginning of the tune its a killer on breathing. Sure my part has a solo and sounds good together as a band, but I just hate this piece so much cause by the end of this my lower lip is dying.

I'm playing this in my school's band right now for SOMEA this year and for our all district band concert I'm so excited! :)

About five years ago I played this at an honors band festival in Ohio, 1st alto sax. Wonderful piece, I had no idea it was so well known... the composer Mr. Reineke directed us. I had no clue he was now the director of the New York Pops!

i'm so excited to play this piece next year. i was so thrilled when my band director played this in my music appreciation class and told me we were playing it for band. for festival, of course. hopefully anyway.
