14 pounds and counting! It's been slow progress the last couple of weeks. There are a few things I know I haven't been doing as well as I should but there are also areas where I am learning and making progress. I was able to go to a bridal shower and eat my food, enjoy the guests and the bride-to-be, and feel good that I did not sabotage myself. I was actually surprised to find that I didn't mind not eating the food that was served at the shower. It looked and smelled great, but my food was fine. I ate with the other guests, just more sensibly than I would have a few weeks ago. And, you know, when the meal was done and we moved on to the usual games, FOOD was not on my mind. That's progress!
