This is a video of my granddaughter, Destiny, learning to play baseball. She is playing baseball with the boys (machine pitch) because we don't have fast-pitch softball in our league. Our park doesn't have a rule against girls playing baseball with the boys, so we enrolled her in baseball instead of slow-pitch softball to better prepare her for her fast-pitch career! She likes baseball as much as she likes riding horses, so it's a toss-up whether she'll be a Softball or Rodeo star. Watch her other videos!!

Thanks! I think we made the right call in letting her play baseball. I think she'll be a better player because of it.

I played baseball with the boys until I was about 10, then when I switched to softball I was far ahead and a lot better than the girls and I still am!

John Fogerty sings it on the "Long Road Home" CD. I think you should be able to find it at Walmart.

OMG! This little girl is soooo cute! I love that she wants to play with the boys! She looks so sad sitting on the bench.

Thank you very much! She really isn't sad when she sits on the bench (which isn't often!) she's just intense about the game!
