Nice to see some new material from you guys. I need that in the cold dark Swedish winter. Right now it's a meter of snow and - 10 degrees, but last night it was - 27..... No fishing untill the ice is safe. Then I'll get out to get some pearch and maybe trout if I'm lucky. Tight lines

Fantastic video guys! Great to see a quality blog from you guys again, wasn't sure for a bit there if you had put the rods up for good. This is just the motivator I needed to get back in my groove. We've been spending the last week doing some home renovations and junk..the banks are calling! I had some great luck fishing through the winter last year and I'm hoping to build on that this season. Hopefully the winter treats you guys well and I'll keep my eyes open for news from your end.

@BlackstoneCarp Hi Erik, good luck with that! I know you like a bit of cold weather fishing...please let us know how you get on. Maybe you can send us a photo or two. I seem to remember that you don't have barbel in your part of the world? Of course you have carpand other hard fighting species - catch a few for us.

@onlywhenpissed Hi Matt - how's things? The big time? If only.....The fish finder is a good bit of kit though, not for finding the fish, but for changes in depth, drop offs etc. Plus, if you can find a shoal of bait fish, the predators might well be close by.
