Yes he should make fun of religion. Ridiculous things deserve ridicule. And religion is ridiculous.

ed i agree with you somewhat about sub groups . however you need to have a personal relationship with god the father and the son jesus christ. i guarantee you god wont snub you. focus on god and his written word and prayer. just you and him ed . the bible says cast all of your cares on him because he cares for you! there are snubs in my church also . i just ignore them. theres nothing wrong with being under gods will . his will is healthy for us . welcome to my fbook (zeke man)

Actually...there are 100's of views...depends on what religion you want to believe in..and then their sub-groups as well..Christianity has so many different sub-groups. And every one of their pastors/priests will tell you something different about the same line in the bible. Which bible doesn't really matter, everyone has their own opinion on what the words mean exactly..Just as the muslims. Religions were designed and founded to herd the sheep and keep them within a fence.

...Well, that or god has hardened my heart as he did to poor Pharaoh (free will woopsie) before slaughtering all the first born sons. If that's the case, it would technically be your god's fault that I still can't believe the seemingly unbelievable : p

...that he is in fact the messiah born of a virgin by a deity with as much evidence for it's existence as Zues (who coincidentally loved knocking up virgins as well, oddly with golden showers which just seems disgusting : p). I cannot fake a belief that Jesus is the messiah and get into heaven. Assuming it did exist I would be attempting to lie to an omnipotent being, kinda pointless. So we're left with the dilemma of their being no good evidence of it's existence and me without belief.

It cannot be what we generally be what we call "bad" do to morality as in order to do something "wrong" or "evil" one must first have some comprehension of morality in the first place. Babies cannot willingly do good or evil any more than a cat. Instinct is not free will in the sense we like to use it (and whether we have something like free will or not is another question entirely). It's not a free gift. I must accept Jesus Christ as my personal savior. In order to do this I must believe...

The years being named after Jesus means nothing. We use a Julian calender. We have one day a week named for the thunder god Thor. I know of several mythological creatures just as or more powerful than Yahweh. Do you have any evidence (not only that this deity exists), but that it did any of the things you are claiming it did? Your ambiguous statements regarding the Bible's claim on the age of the Earth (universe, etc) doesn't exactly help bolster your claims. What exactly is sin?
