The truth buzzer counts the number of lies employed in a single "abortion presentation" made by a Prolie activist.

  • The ''background music'' is WAY too loud >.>

  • Use the volume control

  • Using the volume control to turn down the background music would not help me hear the guy talking.

  • You're not missing anything.

  • dude this is really shitty. it does not help to make a point when most of what you claim were lies were just exaggerations and repitions

  • @TheChoujinVirus A man in sales once told me that the three great sales motivators are: need, greed & fear. While all are effective, fear is the greatest motivator - in the hands of a skilled salesman, manipulator....or preacher. Whether it is used overtly or subtly is a choice of strategy......

The best hiding place for satan is in the garb of organized religion. It is the perfect disguise:)

  • @19lfm12

exactly, they can't more congregants into their pews by preaching about a loving God, but can get them to show up by telling about a vengeful god that will send you to a burning pit for all eternity if you don't show up.

Heck, Satan wouldn't need to turn us away from god, since we're doing that ourselves by fear-mongering and controlling

  • @TheChoujinVirus True. If Jesus loves us & we are to love him....where does fear enter this? You cannot love someone whom you fear.

Unfortunately, much of organized Christianity has made a plush living on fear & guilt. Making God into a monster. That is a lie.It also drives ppl away from God.

  • @19lfm12

exactly, I recalled Jesus saying that we should humble before him not fear him

  • nice

  • haha - well, personally I would claim it exists, but not as usually portayed.

You can't be that 'bad' if you can see good in others:)

As to my assertion that Jesus used non-believers as positive role models, look up the parable of the Good Samaritan. The hero of the tale (Samaritan) was considered a 'pagan/non-believer' by the 'pious ones'; not capable of any good:p

Personally, I have no problem with Atheists or Agnostics. Most I have met on here are very nice ppl.

  • i'm still not qualified,,, see you in hell... if it does exist

  • LOL

well, what is a 'good person'? Is is certainly not the pretense of false piety. Nor is it being 'perfect'.

Neither Gandhi nor Martin Luther King were 'perfect'; but they what made them 'good ppl' was that they actually gave a damn about other human beings. And they did 'good' for its own sake; not for applause or to win awards.

Non-Xtians, Athests/Agnostics can be very good ppl.....as Jesus said.....because they can do great good w/out being full of sh*t like many 'religious' ppl:)

  • yeah, i'm goin to HEA.... oh yeah you still have to be a good person

  • ...actually, Jesus never said anything like 'believe or burn'. He did not force anyone to listen to him, nor did he encourage forced conversion! And the ones whom he said were in the greatest danger of 'burning' were the 'oh-so-pious ones':)

He said that we would be judged based upon how merciful we had been to others; not on 'pious & holy'. He often used non-believers as the positive role model in his parables....

That does put a different spin on things, eh? :D
