How do you find the RB30 hybrid? Have you had any issues with it at all? I heard they could have a few potential problems, i.e gudeon pin problems, block strength and general "harmonics issues". Can you provide some insight at all?

We are now running 7.8 @ 177mph, around 1400hp, 9500-10,000rpm and its been great, only problems have been flex plates and transmissions.

Impressive figures, I'd expect trans problems with numbers like that. Is it running a dog? sequential? auto? Is it running a dry sump by any chance? (sorry about all the questions, just curious about the setup) Has it gone through any chassis prep/modification at all?

TH400, RIPS wet sump, back 1/2d street car, check my other vids, runs 7.8 @ 177mph with this motor.

hey man thats sick az..... i love nissan they are my life. so strong etc ive got a rb30 with molly crome rings and acl race berings with vct hooked up. standard pistons rods crank etc. also put greedy front facing plemum chamber aftermaket fail rail and 660cc injectors with link v4 ecu and gt35/40 do you think the gt45 wid be ok on it and what limits does my engine have?

the 3540 is ideally suited to stock internals, the GT45 really needs a pretty serious engine to take advantage of it.
I've run a 10.2 in a GTS4 with totally stock internals, stock head and cams etc so when tuned right stock internals are pretty good.
