Great. Why bother getting a job and being a productive member of society when you can just have the government give you everything you want? Pretty soon our country will turn to socialism, which means that if I were to work hard in school, go to college, and get a high-paying job, the government would take half of my money away to pay to support people who are too lazy to get off their asses and find a job. I really hope Obama fails.

You are out because your "belief" is in a false "massiah". He coddled ACORN, which supports one side hoping to turn the country more socialist, and is turning the country more socialist. ACORN was corrupt in its very idiology long before the systemic voter fraud and embezzelments.
How can you defend that? You sound like MSNBC. No perspective, just party-line BS.
Better luck next time.

All I am saying is that the reporters in this clip are wrong about both the intentions and the impact of the "voter fraud" issue, but are playing it up anyway for ratings and anger. This plays out in facts if you do some research.
Though from your responses I see you are less interested in a discussion, more in venting your points of "belief" and panic. Though I should expect that, being a YouTube comments section. Good reminder why I normally don't engage in debates here, so I am out. Peace.

If you think I'm a "party loyalist" after what I wrote then you aren't reading very carefully, and it's not worth my time to continue this conversation. And I fully recognize that ACORN has done some shoddy work. The story about one of their founders embezzling money is true.
-
You sound like a bought and sold party loyalist. You must be aware of the bias in ACORN. They do not serve the people.
The embezzelment was ACORN. The money came from the government via Obama. Senior ACORN leaders know about it and it is not political. It is a crime.

You have experience? No kidding! I campaigned and polled for Dukakis. I was a dedicated democrat, until the party just fell off the left side of the map anyway. I saw the angry accusations by my parties canvassers turn into insane action as Dukakis was losing ground to Bush. Some of it worked! I went independent a decade later as the party went wacko liberal. I never changed my views. Mine are time tested. The party changed. Both did. Power mad people in charge. I want them all out.
-
And what I'm saying is that they are Reg'ing Dems because that is what they want! I can guarantee you that they destroy registrations. They destroyed mine. I registered independent and they tossed it. They are a politically motivated organization and they are specifically seeking out those that will reg as Dems. They do not care about the law. They are destroying non-Dem registrations. Not just mine.

Regarding the embezzlement and bias, I think you mean in their home mortgage division. I haven't looked into this so I don't have ideas there.
But overall point - the worries about serious voter fraud because of sloppy acorn canvassing is just a bunch of talking heads trying to wipe conservatives into a frenzy to boost ratings. Which I think is the bread and butter of TV news - pandering to the ire of various left wing and right wing constituencies for ratings at the expense of good journalism

Plus I have experience as a door-to-door canvasser so I know how those things go. People get registered twice because they accidentally double canvass an area. Lazy canvassers make up info just to make quota. But ff you register "Mickey Mouse" to vote, even if the application isn't thrown out by the board of elections and actually gets on the rolls, Mickey Mouse never shows up to vote. If you register someone to vote twice, this is very hard to turn into two votes on election day. VERY unlikely

Yeah I believe it, that's what I said isn't it? But it's not a matter of belief or feeling. I'm not just impulsively saying these things, I looked into it. (I especially stand by the statement about registering more democrats makes perfect sense, given that acorn works in low income and often minority neighborhoods. These folks go blue, basic political science 101.)
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are simply branch offices of the Democrat Party, and you can see what happens when the Democrats get their hands on something: they destroy it
ACORN and its 150 subsidies are the root of corruption..
