  • Heh, brutal tempo, but .... i dont mind it in some parts.. its real drama in the middle of this movement.. somewhere between 1:22 to 1:54, it's so tragic and furious Mozart, yes ,... this part is really really really good.

At the beginning and the end.. sorry, but it losts too much of atmosphere. This interpretation is too hot and spicy for me :)))

  • @robertforberger haha. yeah I love this recording for that 1:22 to 1:54 part.

  • I LOVE Glenn Gould, but this It's too fast...

  • @lilotheanimal lol. Yeah it is a little bit.

When I was studying this piece when I was younger, I only had Gould's recording. Needless to say, i got scolded for playing at this tempo :P

  • Is that a midi file?

  • No..

  • Maybe the parking meter receipt of Mr. Gould was expiring? Fines are unappealing for the Artist.

  • 0:32? Hahaha. This is so ridiculous, I just love Glenn Gould, he always makes me smile:)

  • gould didnt like mozart and i sometimes think he did this to fuck with people and piss them off!

  • he must have been in one of his "manic" episodes when he recorded this lol. ridiculous.

  • way too fast. . .

  • I think you should have some ridiculous mind to play Mozart.. I guess gould didnt like using any jokes about poops

  • Is this the song that was in the movie about Mozart? The scene where he was dripping in sweat because he was playing so fast? I think it was called "Amadeus". Forgive me, I'm new to the classical genre of music.

  • I think the second theme sounds far better than the first theme at this tempo. And obviously the tempo works very well for the development.

  • garbage

  • Weird!!!!

  • he didnt like mozart he plays his music like if he wished to finish rapidly

he admitted in an interview so if you like mozarts music interpretation look for another one ex George pludermacher its excellent on mozarts music

i dont like this interpretation aldough GOULD is a master
