I feel retarded: heard this song all my life, and just now thought, is this about the Democratic Convention Riots in 1968?  I don't know the layout of Chicago, or Al Capone, but I know my parents were there visiting from Detroit, and scared stupid...

@arpeggioh I'm sorry, but they were scared after visiting from DETROIT? Chicago's a classy town. This song is a fictional account of the decade of Capone's rum running, which was beneficial. With the exception of the Valentine's Day massacre, there was no such thing as an outright day of violence.
