Great video John, very understandable, very difficult to learn that from a book!
-
Hello! This is a great video tutorial, you made the process very understandable. Are you willing to share the assembly files? Thanks
-
Haha this is awesome, I was taught the basics of inventor at college, now I'm learning PTC creo at uni but Inventor is just so much more straightforward! Thank you for making this software available to students :)
-
They didn't add that until 2010...take John's advice and get to 2011...2012 is out in a couple of weeks

@iamenjoi - Students can register for the Autodesk Education Community and download full student versions of all major Autodesk software at no cost.

hi i have a question...can u do an FEA on the assembly in inventor 2009??...i watched ur vid but i cant seem to do it in 2009...maybe im missing something.

@ulrickwester Honestly, I can't remember. If you could it would probably be in the Pro version not standard. Are you a student? If you are you should just download the new version from the student community (students.autodesk.com). I searched youtube and found a tutorial on it (search for "Simple FEA Newest ") which shows FEA in 2009. Not sure what version of 2009 he is running.
