Elora and the Meaning of Beauty is a philosophical inquiry into the meaning of beauty featuring interviews with 30 people aged 15 to 90. The answers from the participants to long-standing questions from the field of aesthetics are spontaneous and unrehearsed, engaging and entertaining. The deep insight and often poignant responses from a diversity of participants reveal that an understanding and appreciation of beauty is fundamental to the human condition. The film is uplifting and thought-provoking, and includes original music and cinematic imagery taken of and around the picturesque village of Elora, Ontario, Canada.
