The United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and the Ad Council announced today the launch of a multi-year public awareness campaign focused on teen steroid use. The campaign is being funded by U.S. Olympic Team sponsor Johnson & Johnson, and it marks the first time the USOC and the Ad Council have joined forces to raise awareness about the national issue of illegal performance-enhancing drugs both within and outside of sport.

  • @neoprankster People use it in general writing whenever there are notes involving a particular figure or phrase (e.g. "Ash caught all 151 Pokemon*", the note being that "Ash used a Gameshark cheat code to help him."). Also, as we see in the ad, people have come to use it as a metaphor for people not doing something honestly.

  • @suburbanxgangster It's an asterisk, NOT a flower!

  • watch bigger faster stronger before you believe this government propaganda

  • @THECHIZ87 The asterisk is used by sportswriters when they write about a player who used steroids in his or her career. It is also used when a college has to forfeit their wins due to NCAA sanctions.

  • @uedachicho Those asterisks will stick out like a sore thumb.

  • wow, really good

  • fuckin im gunna take steriods now cause i want a flower on my head

  • I've seen it on TV lol

  • Does anyone know what that song is?
