  • I posted NEW Ragtime Videos of Jesse & Norbert on 2/20/12:

"12th Street Rag" & "Beaumont Rag".

Click on the links in the video description to view them. THANKS!

  • What make banjos are these? and what way are they tuned?

  • @The4stringman Jesse has a Bacon & Day Silver Bell Montana and Norbert has a Paramount Style 1. They are both standard tenor tuning - CGDA. Thanks for your interest. ~Lynne Rock

  • My favorite Scott Joplin Rag. Who arranged it for banjo?

  • @bennie697 Norbert first taught himself to play this rag on MANDOLIN based on the PIANO score (he moved it up a half step from A flat to A). When he switched from mandolin to BANJO, he started playing it in the key of D. Earlier this year, he pulled it out of his memory and taught it to Jesse. THANKS for watching! ~Lynne Rock

  • Jesse Norbert told me about you and this is the first time I got to see you two play together. It was great and I plan to listen to all your videos now. Good teaching Norbert and a talented student you have. Take care and keep on picking. :o) Ray

  • @Robin18us Thanks, Ray. I'm glad you enjoyed it! ~Lynne Rock
