Putting in a brand new high powered engine completely defeats the purpose. Jalopies sputter and die, and you are lucky if you can get it started again. That's what makes them jalopies.

I worked in the street rod shops for 10 years.They just whinned so much beause of all the "pretty" stuff" They sure didn't like my affection for toward New England Hot rods Which ois almost rat rodding.
