A really rare interview with Geoffrey, Zippy, George and Bungle talking about their stage show tour from February 1989.

  • Is that a different Bungle suit? I'm sure he looked different from that!

  • Yes, I think that Bungle suit was just for the tour they were doing because I don't ever remember seeing Bungle looking quite like that in any of the tv shows.

  • Really enjoyed seeing this. Their song at the beginning was fab. Love the part where Zippy says he's unque, the only one in the world. Thank you so much for sharing such a rare clip Peter :)

  • You're very welcome Lisa, I'm so pleased you enjoyed seeing this so much. :)

  • @vaj99 He's got his own company. Think it's called rainbow taxis!

  • What taxi company does geoffrey hayes work for now?

  • Tank you for upploading this becouse the song was fab, fantastic

  • @lisaglitters - i love that song love wins over all its lovely

  • I wonder what nickname they give Geoffrey. Neither Bungle or Zippy wanted to say on television. Its probably something racist.

Geoffrey dismisses Rod, Jane and Freddy as a 'little television programme'. He is rude.

Interesting that Bungle wanted to take over from Johnathan Ross. Thats a very topical subject. What was Johnathan Ross doing at this time?

  • I hate the way Bungle looks here. Its the worst look he has ever had and I include the way he looked during the first series in that too.

Geoffrey should have done more rehearsal, he keeps looking down at the lyrics during the song.

What is George singing at 02:57?

Does Geoffrey not let those animals watch the BBC? I think it was surprising common for parents not to let their children watch ITV in the 60s,70s and 80s but I have never heard of anyone not being allowed to watch the BBC before.

  • Wow! Thanks so much for putting this up :)

  • Great clip Peter, thanks for posting!
