just a test of OSC (Open Sound Control) implemented in Lucifer for "near-direct" communication with the monome.

Lucifer is a $99 VST/AU Plugin for OSX/Windows which I'm always working on (www.devine-machine.com).

Lucifer is generating the sound in this video, recieving push events from the monome, and driving the monome's LED array.

  • ok

good reason / but why don't you share this feature with us ;)

what is the advantage to have a step Seq in lucifer ?

just for feedback display & triggering ?

  • if you're a customer you can email me for a beta. I've left it "in beta" intentionally.

The advantages to stepsequencing are mostly around polyphony and slice-trim (offset) abilities.

  • hi

    great stuff

but lucifer dev has been stopped!!!!

then this 2.2 version(with stepSeq/midiNote) will never be released...

and there's no similar Vst at the moment...(DblueGlitch is quite similar but

doesn't have the usefull midi in/out routing functions)

then why this product has been stopped????

  • I took it off the market for many reasons, I went back to making music fulltime which was my occupation the 10 years prior

  • what audio software is used here? i looked up lucifer for audio and didn't find anything. please advise.

  • custom version of Lucifer, nothing you can have :P

  • @circuitb steal it....

    aka torrent it

  • not that impressive... im sorry, and u know why

  • Don't forget HammerHead either, another classic vintage PC drum machine that will have you sounding like The 'Pusha in no time.

  • Ok well Im not even going to try and begin to understand how this works but from what I saw it seems like a warped soundboard or something of that nature.

Do you know of any places or sites were I can get a "beginers" set or anything?

  • which program is that??
