Kim Jong Il Elected Deputy to 12th SPA of DPRK

Pyongyang, March 9 -- The Central Election Committee for the Election of Deputies to the 12th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK Monday released a report on the results of the election of a deputy to the SPA held at Constituency No. 333 on Mar. 8.
According to the report, all the voters of Constituency No. 333 participated in the election and voted for Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Il who is general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, reflecting the unanimous will and wishes of all the servicepersons of the KPA and the people of the country.
This is the expression of all servicepersons and people's absolute support and profound trust in
Kim Jong Il.
All the voters of Constituency No. 333 renewed their unshakable determination to devotedly safeguard Kim Jong Il, firmly defend the Korean-style socialist system centered on the popular masses, the best in the world, and surely accomplish the historic cause of national reunification.
The Central Election Committee reported that Kim Jong Il was elected deputy to the SPA on the basis of the results of voting confirmed and submitted by the election committee of Constituency No. 333.
