The Philippine Madrigal Singers visited Valencia City, Bukidnon last Christmas season of 2007...This funny arrangement of the famous Filipino folk song is the fifth song the Madz sang...The ending is really, really great - superb tongue twister! hehehe
thumbs up!

@SirCaseyHollywood : They're the ONLY choir that does that - Madrigal-singing while seated :) (That's how they sing in performances and in competitions world-wide.) This is even more difficult than singing standing up :) Their seats also have to be arranged that way (in a semi-circle): it's how they can best hear each other's pitch, plus it directs sound to just one central place :) Check their Riveder Le Stelle, if you wish. That was... unworldly :)

They should change their name to the Philippine Madrigal SITTING LAZY Singers. it gets boring quick. Who else or Choir does that?

You guys need to lear the original Cebuano version and sing it. It's really annoying to hear Tagalog taking over the country and ripping off non-Tagalog songs.

this song tells how a river crab (ceb. alimango) tried to disguise as a type of fish under the grouper family (ceb. kitong) and thereby hard to detect and capture. the tagalog translation however do not almost reflect the original meaning in cebuano.
