On September 14, 2007, HRC President Joe Solmonese speaks about the federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) to a transgender defined audience (transgender people, their significant others, freinds, and family members) at the Southern Comfort Conference (Atlanta, Georgia).
There were 871 transgender defined members in the audience.

granted this was 3 years ago so maybe he's rethought things a little? we just have to get the medical professionals to not disqualify us as crazy or sick, & if we can get trans bio-ethicists to really make us an apparent force who is appalled by our crappy treatment, they would have to change their ways. western medicine is a damn shame anyway & i would say it sounds like his speech is written by a bunch of pansies who aren't brave enough to EMBRACE the full weight of the LGBT community i'm sad.
