My cat, Salemn, is spoiled enough that every time he comes through the door from being outside, he'll stop right in front of me with his head tilted up or kisses. xD;;

you can train a Bombay by physically putting them through the act and giving a little cookie reward. Talk in a loving way and keep it up for several days and they usually learn. After that they love doing it.

@surlybonds71 ....I taught my Bombay male to touch me on my hand when he wanted a little treat. The Bombay is just as smart as any breed of dog. They are possessive also...like a lover, they demand your attention or they get mad.

He must be a polydactyl kitty. Those are cats that for some weird reason, are born with extra toes on their paws/feet.
I think he's gorgeous! I just love black cats.

how did you train your cat to do that? We have a 9 month old bombay and hes really smart but i dont know how to begin to train him. Where should i look?

If you look closely you'll notice that I give him his favorite treat after he does his trick, a little sliver of beef jerky. After a while his only reward becomes approval and love from me and he performs without a treat, its easy!

No it's not, he just happened to be born that way :) I was told that it is not all that uncommon to have a couple of extra toes on the front feet, but my boy has extra on all 4 feet, it is unusual!
