Javert: The Lonely Inspector

This video is a birthday gift for my friend, Ezzie, who loves "Les Miserables," Inspector Javert, and the incomparable ( and very sexy!) Philip Quast as much as I do! Happy Birthday, Ez!

When I heard the song "Learn To Be Lonely," I thought it just perfect for Javert. The son of a convict and Gypsy fortune-teller who dies when he is still a young child, Javert has no idea what it is to love, or have someone, anyone, to care for him. His life is the Law, his duty. Tragic, that. SO glad there's fan fiction to give him a happy ending! Those silly girls, Cosette and Eponine! Why would one want Marius when they could have a "real" man like our dear inspector? The uniform alone is drop-dead sexy! And his nightstick....Can you tell that I'm a Javert fangirl?! Enjoy the video, rate, and please, if you're going to comment, be polite, eh? Thanks!

I wonder if he is reading this...if Javert ever saw this whole fangirl thing, he'd probably freak, and then say something like "I don't need female sympathy." And then arrest all of us... Well, that wouldn't be that terrible! :)

Oh, thank goodness I'm not the only person who finds this man so attractive! Every time he sings in Les Mis 10th, I just want to scream, faint, cry and laugh and then faint some more, just to wake up with those eyes on my computer screen and repeat! I'd commit some felony just to be arrested by him, I'll tell you that much! I absolutely love it when, during Fantine's Arrest, he fixes the mic ever so slowly. XD Also, if Mr. Quast is reading this: "Hi! I don't mean to creep/sketch you out!"

I fell for him at 12 years old. Its a rather sweet little story:

My parents dragged me to a show and i was bored out of my tiny mind. Then, the PBS 10th anniversary came on a few weeks later and they made me watch it again. I was bored, but, suddenly I heard "Now bring me prisoner 24601" and an incredibly hot man with a beautiful voice captured me. I watched the whole thing to see him again! And my parents were dismayed that I liked "The Bad Guy"

Oh my goodness, I"m so happy to learn I'm not the only fan of Philip Quast. I've followed the man since I was 12 years old. And had a massive crush on him I was entering 7th grade and. Philip Quast was the reason I could not date in high school. NO one could possibly come even close to handsomeness like his! I'm 26 today, and I recently resaw the same 10th anniversary footage and felt the same little spark. Oh i'm so pleased to see others feel the same way i do!
