SWIMSUIT EDITION: 2009

Last summer, I did a swimsuit edition when I was a size 22 swimsuit. I thought I would do a follow-up video to last year. I think the beach was always one of the saddest things for me - because as confident as I was, that was the one place that I did NOT want to be seen (I mean, you have to be BARELY CLOTHED there!). It's so, so, so rewarding to be able to go and feel comfortable. One of the best post-op experiences yet for me! :)

I was just wondering if you had to get any plastic surgery For any excess skin? I'm sorry if my question seems rude I was just curious, You look Great.

I haven't had plastic surgery, no. Believe me, I've got hanging skin! You just don't see it so much in the videos. I hope to have plastics someday, but have to wait a bit for that.  Exercise helps, though! :) (And self tanner. lol)

I am thinking of this surgery if i get approved. But seem to be confused about the incision. Is this one incision or six smaller incisions? Thanks - you look great btw!!

It depends on the type of surgery. I had laproscopic RNY, so I had six tiny incisions (which are all but gone now!). Some people have to get open surgery, which requires one long vertical cut - but I think the larger percentage of patients end up getting the lap. Hope that helps!

WOW__ you said the magic words-- to not be self conscious at the beach or anywhere! I cannot wait! mt RNY date is 10/21/09-- and I have been approaching this since last Jan 1-- so come on summer of 2010!
