Kermit is a brown and white male lop and was born in April 2006. He arrived with us with some of the most rotten teeth we had ever seen. His molars were rotting in his gums and one had grown into his cheek. He was extremely thin and weighed just 1.3 kg (a bunny of his breed and age should weigh around 2.3 kg). We were so worried about his teeth that he really needed to have a dental as soon as he arrived. During the dental several of his teeth just fell out because they were so rotten. However he bounced back and has since gained weight consistently. He is now of normal weight which is fantastic. He has since lost a few more teeth and now has very few left, so his food has to be blended. As you can imagine, Kermit has a special place in our hearts because he is such a bouncy lively and nosey boy and thoroughly enjoying life, despite his history. Due to his ongoing health problems he is not available for rehoming and is one of our permanent residents.
He is lovely, bless him
