@GBJPhotoWorks I found that tripods are the bes way to get high quality, well-focused images inside the Cathedral. Thanks for the posting; the videography is great!

Tripods always help and are almost a must when shooting on film. W/out a tripod there are other techniques you can try. Using a fairly handy little digital? Turn the flash OFF. The simpler digitals tend to take great photos in large, dim spaces when the flash is off. Too slow and blurry? Steady your cam against any stone column. Digital SLRs behave more like film cams. Use a tripod there too. New video soon, featuring the Cathedral itself, not just stained light.
